Born in Italy, Sister Angèle experienced the hardships of war firsthand. At the age of 17, she immigrated to Quebec, where she joined the religious community of Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil. She taught culinary arts at the *Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) for 16 years, founded a culinary research laboratory, and became a beloved television personality on Radio-Canada for nearly 50 years.
She has received numerous honors, including the Grand Prix Max Rupp (Chef of the Year), the Order of Canada, and the National Order of Quebec. The author of many books, she also established the Sister Angèle Foundation to support underprivileged youth.

A priest for seven years, Father Gauthier Elleme bears witness above all to a life transformed by grace. Ten years spent in a semi-monastic setting shaped his interior gaze, strengthened his spiritual discipline, and left a lasting mark on his pastoral ministry. Today, he serves as the moderator of three parishes and as a chaplain for several youth groups, blending missionary boldness with profound listening and sincere proximity.
The true strength of his ministry lies not just in his background or his erudition—nourished by both science and prayer—but in his living testimony. He defines himself as a converted sinner, lifted by mercy, who has chosen to serve Christ and His Church with joy and simplicity. His words are inhabited by the experience of darkness overcome and light rediscovered, reaching out to every wounded heart to open a path of hope.
Deeply connected to families and youth, and passionate about the beauty of liturgy, Father Gauthier proclaims that mercy is not an idea, but an encounter. Charismatic and accessible, he unites the wisdom of the Church Fathers with a modern voice rooted in today’s challenges. Through his homilies and pastoral commitment, he acts as a bridge for reconciliation and a witness to Christian joy.

He is the founder and host of La Victoire de l’Amour on the TVA Network, a position he has held for 30 years.

He is the resident singer for La Victoire de l’Amour.
