Born in Montreal to a Guatemalan family, he completed his training in Montreal and was ordained a diocesan priest on May 17, 2019. His experience with the French-speaking, English-speaking, Latin American, and Italian communities in the diocese make him a priest who is very attuned to the multicultural reality of the Church in Montreal. After three years as vicar at the Mary Queen of the World Cathedral Basilica in Montreal, he has been pastor of Sainte-Marguerite Bourgeoys Parish on Île-Des-Sœurs since September 2022.

Visit the Basilica of Saint Thomas in Mylapore, an important sanctuary where the relics of the Apostle Saint Thomas rest. Moment of reflection at Saint Thomas Mount, a site charged with spirituality. Free time or a guided prayer session. Overnight in Chennai.
Discovery of other Christian heritage sites such as San Thome Church, built over the tomb of Saint Thomas, or the Chapel of Fort St. George, the first British colonial fort in India. Dialogue with the local Christian community or visit an NGO. Quiet evening dedicated to prayer and personal writing. Overnight in Chennai.
Domestic flight to Kolkata. Check-in at the hotel. Mass at St. Paul’s Cathedral, a Gothic jewel in the heart of the city. Visit the Victoria Memorial, an emblematic monument dedicated to Queen Victoria, surrounded by peaceful gardens. Discovery of the flower market, a vibrant and colorful place, reflecting local life. Overnight in Kolkata.
Participation in Mass at the Mother House of Mother Teresa, a place charged with emotion and compassion. Volunteer activity with the Missionaries of Charity, to concretely experience charity and faith in action. Time for prayer or personal reflection at the end of the day. Overnight in Kolkata.
Domestic flight to Varanasi. Possible complementary visit of St. Paul’s Cathedral or discovery of a sustainable community project. Check-in and rest. Overnight in Varanasi.
Morning boat ride on the Ganges, punctuated by guided meditation to feel the spirituality of the sacred river. Visit of Sarnath, the site where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Discovery of the Ghats, sacred steps along the Ganges, and immersion in the Ganga Aarti ceremony, a spectacular ritual at sunset with offerings of lamps, songs, and prayers. Overnight in Varanasi.
Journey to Prayagraj (4 hours). Visit of All Saints Cathedral, a jewel of local Christian architecture, followed by St. Joseph’s Church. Moment of contemplation at Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of three rivers, a highly spiritual place for Hindu pilgrims. Overnight in Prayagraj.
Departure for Lucknow (4 hours). Visit of St. Joseph’s Cathedral of Lucknow, a living testimony to the Christian faith in Indian land. Overnight in Lucknow.
Day dedicated to discovering the rich architectural and cultural heritage of Lucknow, former capital of the Nawabs, famous for its art, music, and craftsmanship. Visit the Bara Imambara, an imposing religious and funerary complex built in the 18th century, notable for its immense column-less hall and its mysterious labyrinth, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Discovery of the sumptuous Chota Imambara, adorned with mosaics, mirrors, and chandeliers, a place of commemoration for Shiite martyrs. You will also admire the majestic Rumi Darwaza gate, the emblem of the city. Finally, visit the La Martinière Chapel, a British colonial building rich in history and religious art, a testimony to the Christian presence in this region. Overnight in Lucknow.
Journey to Agra (5 hours). Visit the Taj Mahal, India’s iconic masterpiece, a symbol of eternal love and a jewel of Mughal architecture. Optional prayer time at St. George’s Cathedral, a reflection of the local Christian heritage. Overnight in Agra.
Journey to Delhi (4 hours). Visit of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, a Gothic jewel nestled in the heart of the capital. Optional visit to major spiritual sites such as the Baháʼí Lotus Temple, a place of interreligious harmony. Overnight in Delhi.
Morning visit of Old Delhi with the majestic Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, then Gandhi’s memorial, a symbol of peace and non-violence. Discovery of Humayun’s Tomb, a splendid example of Mughal architecture. Visit the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh temple known for its hospitality and sacred pool. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
